LEVEL: Intermediate to Advanced
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course takes writers through the process of developing and writing a feature film screenplay from concept to completed script.
Beginning with an initial concept, writers will break their story, decide on a structure to work within, develop their world and characters, create subplots, write out a detailed outline, and then write the screenplay.
Writers workshop their material with the group to help further brainstorm ideas when they feel blocked or stuck, they read each others’ pages and give and receive feedback.
In depth feedback given to students every step of the way through the process.
LOCATION: Mairangi Bay Office and/or via Zoom
COST: $750 plus GST payment options available upon request.
CLASS SIZE: Space limited to 10 per workshop.
