COURSE DESCRIPTION: Designed to help writers elevate their work to the professional level.
In this workshop, writers will take a deep dive into structure, formatting, character development, and storytelling techniques.
Participants will work to hone their skills through regular writing and feedback. Techniques of generating story ideas and brainstorming will become second nature as writers craft short pieces (2-3 pages) each week. A keen eye for formatting and clear understanding of story structure will develop as participants engage in the feedback process, and break stories in a group setting. Focus on world, tone, theme, and characters will be explored further as writers also develop their own, larger work over the 8-week period.
This workshop is about fully developing storytelling skills for Film & TV so that writers can easily move forward into larger works with complete competence.
In depth feedback given to students every step of the way through the process.

I really looked forward to Keren’s Skills Mastery Course every week. She gives you the tools and assistance to outline and structure your work to the point where finishing the feature after the course seems relatively straightforward with no nightmares of muddling through Act 2 and 3.
Initially, speed writing was intimidating but very quickly I saw how beneficial it is, how it rapidly it becomes easier and how fun it can be.
